Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsible for analyzing compensation data within an organization and evaluating job positions to determine classification and salary.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage salary classification and compensation programs

• Conduct analysis of compensation and benefits within company.

• Prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scale.

• Oversee competitive analysis, merit increases and salary structure.

• Analyze surveys to ensure appropriate compensation across all departments. Salary and benefit against internal and external market.

• Forecast budget for salary increases.

• Advise on salary increase requests.

• Reporting on identified salary and benefits surveys as necessary

• Supporting annual salary review process

• Acting as internal advisor on all projects/initiatives with a compensation & benefits impact involving interaction with staff at all levels from administration staff to senior business leaders

Requirements

Skills:

• Past proven compensation and benefits experience within a commercial organization including salary surveys, salary reviews and management of benefits

• Strong numerical and analytical skills is a necessity

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• High level of IT literacy and use of Microsoft office packages would be an advantage

• A proficiency in experience using HR Information Systems (AX) would be an advantage

• Knowledge of compensation & benefits reporting tools.

• Enthusiastic team player.

• Capable of working on own projects and taking responsibility for work load.

• Ability to work in a complex challenging and sensitive environment.

• Excellent communication and influencing skills.

• Self-starter.

• Analytical mind.

• Aptitude for numbers.
