Job description / Role
Reporting to the HR Manager and working closely with the Finance Manager responsibilities for this role include:
Manage the monthly payroll using the in house HR system for approx. 800 staff by inputting all calculations including overtime, expenses and deductions and create pay slips.
Assist with the formulation, revision and implementation of Payroll and Benefit related policies and procedures.
Assist with the annual pay and benefits review by producing benchmarking reports to ensure consistency with industry competitors.
Prepare final settlements for departing employees.
Preparation of reports detailing salary calculations.
Regular review of benefits matrix for all pay grades.
Collate competitive quotations for medical insurance and airfares.
Liaise with medical insurance providers to initiate coverage for new staff and cancel policies for exiting employees.
Coordinate payment and/or booking of annual flights for staff.
Assist the HR team with any other related duties.
Requirements
UAE labour law knowledge is essential and an understanding of the Hay job evaluation methodology is desirable.
Attention to detail is paramount for this role to ensure 100% accuracy for all salary payments.
Candidates are required to have a hands-on attitude and take on other duties as required
A HR related qualification is preferred.
Knowledge of payroll systems along with advanced Excel knowledge is essential.
