Job description / Role
The Human Resources coordinator is the hands-on representative of the Human Resources department whose job is to help facilitate all basic Human Resources functions. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager of the Regional Head Office of a large professional services company, this role has diverse yet substantive job responsibilities. The Coordinator works with both current employees and new hires, making this a key position within a company.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a strong administrator to diversify into the HR arena as our client is not looking for previous HR experience. The role is busy and will require strong multi tasking ability and time management skills. The incumbent will actively participate in the recruitment process, assist with addressing employee matters and analysing work activities for the company.
Requirements
This position is also responsible for preparing and coordinating any functions pertaining to employment, compensation, labour negotiations and employee relations. The Human Resources coordinator will also play an active role in formulating methods to improve employment policies, processes and practices as well as recommending changes to management. Because this position has unparalleled access to a potpourri of useful data, Human Resources coordinators conduct a substantial amount of research, analysis and reporting in addition to daily tasks.
