HR Delivery Partner - Dubai, UAE

Our HR Delivery Partner (HRDP) will be responsible for delivering a proactive and responsive HR delivery service. Working in partnership with the relevant business leaders, managers and OneHR colleagues, the HRDP will help the business achieve its objectives by:
- Supporting managers and directors on all aspects of human resources management, ensuring early interventions where necessary to reduce potential risks to the Company and to maintain a positive employment climate;
- Provision of high quality HR advice, information and updates and attending appropriate business meetings to promote the service and obtain and act on feedback.
- Be part of a team which is recognised as a source of expertise in areas such as talent management, performance management; employee relations (ER); employee engagement and business improvement.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders within the business and the global OneHR team.

The HRDP will be assigned and accountable for one or more strategic client group, business group or geographic location.
- To promote the HR value proposition and implement the human resource (OneHR) strategies required to meet the enterprise business goals and objectives, through: Coaching, challenge and provision of guidance to leaders to develop excellent people managers and leaders; Implement business planning, strategic and change management initiatives; Provide guidance in interpreting and applying compliance, regulations, policy, procedures and employment law; Introduce new ideas and concepts to the business to motivate and inspire better ways of doing things
- To act as first point of contact for assigned client/business group(s) managers on all HR issues, advising or referring to specialist OneHR colleagues as appropriate.
- To support managers in driving continued performance improvement. Supporting managers and colleagues in developing an organisation where all employees are able to perform at their best. Understands the key drivers of employee engagement and coaches managers to understand and create value from them. Facilitates discussions with management teams where appropriate.
- To provide specialist advice and instruction to managers who are leading the resolution of ER issues and in the handling of employee non-compliance. To manage and facilitate potential conflict situations to achieve consensus ethically and legally. To work closely with managers dealing with disciplinary; grievance; capability and absence cases in accordance with our policies.
- Provide input for the development and utilization of HR metrics, data, work processes, systems and tools to effectively manage the business operations
- Deliver HR projects in support of the business objectives. To develop these projects as part of individual professional development and to share these with the team and with the wider CH2M management when appropriate.
- Support pursuit of business development/growth opportunities through participation in proposal development and associated negotiations
- Actively seeks and listens to feedback from employees at all levels and offers insight and proposals on significant issues to senior OneHR colleagues.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree is required, within Human Resources Management, Business Administration or equivalent
- Preference for Master's Degree or Professional HR certification (CIPD, SPHR, GPHR, PHR)
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive and diverse HR Generalist experience
- Excellent communication skills in business partnering/advisory roles
- Experience of coaching managers on various people related issues such as L&D initiatives, succession planning, compensation and benefit challenges
- Experience of working with and influencing senior and sometimes challenging individuals
- Experience of advising managers on employment law and on internal HR policies and procedures. Preference for up to date knowledge of UAE employment legislation
- Demonstrated experience handling Employee Relations
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently and use sound judgment with limited functional guidance and oversight
- Demonstrated ability for collaboration and consensus management across a diverse range of stakeholders
- Able to demonstrate adding value as both an individual contributor, active team member and influencing through others
- Proven track record in managing a heavy workload across a range of HR issues
- Knowledge of best practice HR interventions
