HR Director – GCC

Job description / Role

Our client, a leading regional organisation in the industrial field are seeking to recruit a Middle East HR Director, who will be responsible for 7 countries.

This is a new role for a true and highly experienced HR Generalist. The role is highly operational but as a fairly new company, also has a wealth of strategic work involved.

The HR Director is responsible for leading the company's corporate HR Function as well as ensuring faultless personnel operations along with a range of other HR Generalist duties.

This is a key Board level appointment reporting directly to the CEO and has 9 direct reports around the region.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have 15 + years experience in HR Operations, with recent experience from within a large well recognised multinational.
Knowledge and experience of the GCC Region including Compensation and Benefits, Organisational Planning, Organisational Development, Employee Relations, Training and Development, Employment Law, Corporate relations, and Talent Acquisition.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Proven ability to serve as a successful participant on the Executive Management Team and provide both leadership and direction.
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with the Organisation’s Board of Directors.
Industrial background is an advantage but not essential as long as the successful candidate enjoys a robust environment.
