The RoleThe RoleOne of the world’s leading insurance company’s Saudi Arabia and Bahrain operations is currently seeking a self-motivated and result oriented Saudi national to fill the role of Human Resources Director. In this position you will provide a provisional HR services from your base office in Al Khobar to our existing branches in Jeddah, Riyadh as will as our Bahrain operation. The key duties of the HR Director are the following: o Develop an effective HR strategy and champion the cause for professional improvement at all levels of the KSA business as well as proactively responding to any regulatory requirements with being a locally listed company. o Contribute and oversee HR policy and direction of the RSA Bahrain operations. o Drive a Saudisation programme that will see over 50% Saudis employed within the company within 3 years o Develop a workable 5 year HR plan (including some budgetary oversight), to be signed off by the CEO o To drive and review all key hire recruits and ensure that there is a robust process in place for all future hires in the KSA/ Bahrain business o Work with the AME Head Office HR team in Dubai to promoting, implementing Group/Regional driven initiatives o Manage the central HR budget and be responsible for all outgoings within that budget o Lead the branch operations in achieving targets for all aspects of professional development, learning and resourcing. o Building, then keeping quality personnel records for KSA operations, ensuring that each file contains up-to-date records, such as training plans, goals and objectives. o To work with the appropriate training institutes in Bahrain and KSA to ensure that effective training is in place for most appropriate members of staff across the 4 sites |
RequirementsRequirementsExperience required: · 5 years working experience in a similar role preferably in an international/multi-national company. · Strong understanding of the Saudi Labour Law and government regulations. · Knowledge of all HR process. Knowledge/ Educational requirements: · Should hold a Bachelors Degree in HR or Business/ Public Administration, MBA with HR specialisation is a high preference. · Fluency in English and Arabic. · Strong PC skills with Ms Office and Lotus Notes. Personality requirements: · The successful candidate is a self-starter, able to work independently who can immediately take lead in the job. · Should have good influence and negotiation skills and thorough understanding and respect for different cultures. · Should have strong people & team building skills · Should be performance driven and results oriented |
