Our client is a well known European multinational organization, with operations across the globe. They have been operating from (Damascus) Syria for over 5 years now and currently have a head count of over 400 staff on their payroll in Syria. This client is currently looking for a HR Director to manage the HR affairs of the organization as well as to contribute to the growth plans of the organization. This is an exciting role for a senior HR professional with extensive experience in the operational and strategic human resources management of a medium-large size organization.

The position is based in Damascus. The positions reports to the GM (Syria), and has a team of 8 reportees.

• Development of complete HR systems – policies, procedures and process development
• Labour relations/ personnel management
• Recruitment and retention
• Compensation and benefits
• Learning & development
• Payroll administration

Requirements


Requirements


It is necessary that you have extensive exposure to the Syrian labour laws. You must have worked with the HR field for over 8 years, with last 3+ years working as senior HR professional in Syria, ideally working for a multinational organization within industrial/ production environment.
Your university degree, ideally an MBA in HRM, and Arabic language skills will make you an excellent candidate for the role.
