Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client, a top tier bank/investment, are looking for a Head of HR to join their aggressively growing business.

In this position you will be responsible for the entire group.
- You will drive bottom-line business performance through creating an effective and efficient organization whilst maximizing employees performance and engagement.
- You will have responsibility for managing the HR team and ensuring high performance
- Continuously review the operating model for group using all available data to assess effectiveness
- Continuously review the operating model for its cost efficiency and demonstrate proactively in surfacing and securing improvements.
- Active participant at management committee ensuring appropriate focus on people agenda and management of key people risks.
- Support senior leaders in configuring and deploying Group people policies, products and processes to drive engagement thereby driving business performance.
- Proactively coach leadership teams within their area of responsibility both as a team and as individuals to drive business performance through high engagement
- Ensure a robust talent pipeline to meet the future needs of through ensuring managers identifying, developing and appropriately stretching talent at every level.
- Ensures business capabilities are strengthened through proactive management of critical talent.
- Act as a change agent in driving group and country specific change initiatives with key stakeholders and wider teams.
- Proactively form credible relationships to influence and make a difference to the people agendas and to the people within the business
- Coordinate through and collaborate with Country HR.Ms on all people related matters for Senior Managers in Country. Ensure support and collaboration with Country HR teams on products e.g.Talent Mgt to agree stakeholder engagement, drive functional strategies, processes and messages at the Country level.
- Collaborate with colleagues across HR (including specialists) to ensure continuous improvement in the function
- Represent and Champion HR in all interaction with and in turn represent and its agenda to the wider HR Community.
- Member of the HR Leadership team for the region which includes sitting on all Function relevant committees e.g. HR Leadership team meeting
- Responsible for coaching and developing team to high performance and engagement; ensuring all people management responsibilities are completed.
- Ideally this candidate will come from a top tier professional services background.

Requirements

- Have at least 5 years experience in the UAE
- Excellent communication skills
- Extremely well presented and must be able to command respect at all levels of the business segment
- Whilst Arabic is desirable it is not essential
- Must have a demonstrable knowledge of the UAE labour laws.

Salary & Benefits
60-70k AED/month
