The Role


The Role


Experienced Public Relation Officers/HR are sought to join one of the most established services company in Doha to Assist HR manager in carrying out formalities for both Offshore and Onshore Operations .

Essential responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. New Resident Permit/Visa Processing:
Preparing the letter / forms /documents for new RP/Visa
Submitting the letter/forms to the immigration through PROs.
Doing the follow-up on the applications submitted with PROs/Sponsor Office.
Checking the Qatar Government website on day to day basis to know the status of visa application.
Preparing and regularly updating the Block Visa /Individual visa details.

2. Business Visa Processing
Preparing the letter to our sponsor obtaining new business transit visas.
Submitting the application to the sponsor through our PROs.
Doing the follow-up on the applications submitted with PROs/Sponsor Office.
Checking the Qatar Government website on day to day basis to know the status of visa application.
Renewing / processing the new business visa for those employees who are working on business Visa.
Regularly preparing / updating the list of employees who are on business transit visa.
Regularly monitoring the expiry of business transit visas and sending the concerned employees outside the country for visa run.
Informing the locations/Operations Manager regarding the Visa run.
Applying visit visas for the employees who are going to Dubai for visa run through Al Zuari.
Sending the new business transit visa / work visa to the concerned employees.
Informing the concerned HR Assistant to book the Air Tickets and arranging pick ups for the employees who are on visa run.

3. Arrival Formalities
Keeping a track of new employees and sending them to RP Medicals within three days of arrival.
Informing the concerned HR Assistant to send the concerned catering employees for doing the temporary food handling medicals.
After one week of RP Medicals the concerned employees to be sent for Finger Print through Public Relations Officer.
Advising the HR Assistant to inform the location/Operations Manager to arrange the concerned new employee for Finger Print.
Preparing the contracts for the new employees and sending the same to legal department for approval. Doing the follow-up with the legal department regarding the contract.
Preparing the application for RP and submitting the same to labor department / immigration authorities.
Collecting the Resident Permit from immigration through PROs and handing over the same to the concerned HR Assistant to submit the same to the employees.

4. Liaison
Liaison with sponsor regularly in order to do the follow-up for the applications submitted.
Liaison with government authorities whenever required in order to do the follow-up for the applications submitted.

Requirements


Requirements


To be considered for this position it is necessary that you are currently based in Doha with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience. You will have wealth of knowledge dealing with various ministries for visa approvals, renewals etc and should have managed at least 2-3 people in your current position.
Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual.
