HR Lead Role Description:

Based in Lebanon, the HR Lead is essentially a business partner role and is a stand alone role, responsible for delivering HR consultation and support on talent management strategies, maintenance of HR processes and policies, and ensuring effective employee relations in the Levant region - Lebanon & Jordan.

The HR Business partner must act as a business partner to the Country Leadership teams.

Key areas of focus include driving HR Strategy in the areas of Organizational Development, Talent Management, Employee Development & Training, Total Compensation Management, Performance Management, and effective compliance with HR Policies and Procedures.

The position is also responsible for ensuring effective compliance with Employment Legislation, and supporting effective Employee Relations.

The HR Lead is a member of the Country Council and Leadership Teams and reports directly to the Regional Human Resources Lead with a matrix reporting line to the Global Human Health Managing Director.

Requirements

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Education:

Degree level qualification or equivalent in Human Resource Management, Business or similar

Experience:

10 years experience working in in the area of HR, 3-5 of which should be at a Human Resources Management level

Skills/Capabilities:

Excellent leadership and influencing skills, including the ability to coach and counsel senior management

* Strong ability to collaborate across a matrix organization structure

* Excellent written and oral communication skills - English minimum, Arabic preferred

* Ability to work at a number of levels - both at a strategic level with leadership teams, and at a maintenance level to ensure basic systems / policies in place and compliant

* Strong prioritization, resilience and change management ability

* Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work diplomatically and effectively with a wide range of people from different business functional areas

* Ability to make effective decisions and work independently
