Employment: Full Time

HR Lecturer - Bahrain

This leading HE institute in Bahrain has retained m2r Ltd to supply HR Lecturers for the 2014/2015 academic year.

Key responsibilities:
- Deliver set courses to students within the institute
- Design and produce teaching materials and participate in on-going curriculum development in collaboration with team members.
- Adapt and develop resources appropriate to the programmes.
- Set and mark student assessments (assignments, test papers, internal examination papers).
- Undertake mentoring and coaching of both staff and students as negotiated, providing assistance and support as required.
- Develop theoretical and practical learning situations appropriate to curriculum documentation.
- Ensure student and personal records are completed accurately and forwarded to Administration.
- Assist with testing and placement of new students
- Assist with the development and reviews of end term tests
- Visiting students on work placement and supervising student projects on site and/or in industry settings
- Recording industry visits/outcomes
- Reporting on Employability Skills
- Provide learning support for students, specific to courses and modules being taught.

Requirements

Opportunities are open to male and female candidates of all nationalities, providing you meet the minimum criteria below:

- Masters or Bachelors Degree in a related subject with industry experience.
- 5 years related teaching experience to adults and significant industry experience is essential.
- Middle East experience required
- A formal teaching qualification is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills
- The ability to facilitate small and large groups and work across programme delivery teams
- Ability to deliver an adult focused and responsive service
- Membership of relevant professional organisations is preferre
