Job description / Role
An international manufacturing company Headquartered in the US is looking for a, Arabic Speaking Strategic HR Manager to join its team in Saudi Arabia. The position is based in Jubail and reports to the Plant Manager/ Country Manager.
Responsibilities:
- In consultation with the Plant Manager and Regional HR Director, prepare and implement HR annual plan to support the overall strategic aims of the company; Identify and implement strategic HR projects, as and when required.
- Develop and deliver people management strategies that support the company's strategic aims and objectives
- Provide expert professional advice and support to managers and staff on all aspects of people management.
- Contribute at both a strategic and operational level in order to identify HR priorities and recommend appropriate people management solutions which support business aims.
- Manage employee relations: work closely with line managers, providing them with expert guidance, coaching and support on the full range of HR activities (including policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment, absence management, restructuring of services, performance management, redundancy planning etc.), in order to ensure a consistent and fair approach to people management throughout the company.
- Learning and development: In consultation with line managers, follow up individual development needs and source external training provision as and when required, monitoring training costs against budget.
- Main point of contact in all HR related issues and matters in the country.
- Manage 1 direct report and look after the company manpower of 250+ staff
Requirements
- 10+ years experience in HR management, working experience in KSA would be ideal
- Must have strong strategic HRM experience
- Bachelor's Degree Holder or Higher HR related qualification
- Experience working for a manufacturing company is highly preferred
