Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a highly renowned FMCG organisation in Qatar. Our client is looking to hire a proactive, energetic and focused HR Manager who is seeking a long-term career. This position will deal with all aspects of the HR function.
Reporting to the GM you will manage the recruitment, personnel administration, company medical insurances, training and development as well as performance management, HR budget and employee accommodation of around 70 staff. You will use your experience of liaising with government agencies and Qatar labour law to implement the HR strategy in line with corporate guidelines, policies and procedures.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a bachelors Degree in HR or a related field. You should have 5 to 10 years’ HR experience with an excellent understanding of HR systems and procedures along with the ability to translate strategy into policies and procedures. In addition, you should have strong managerial, interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work in a team environment. Excellent knowledge of Qatar labour law together with experience in managing manpower, employee accommodation and employee relations is crucial. It is essential you are fluent in English and Arabic and are based in Qatar.
