HR Manager - Hospitality

Job description / Role

Excellent opportunity to join a growing hospitality branded business with multiple food & beverage concepts throughout the UAE. You will be instrumental in setting up the HR systems & process, policies & procedures across the business.

The role will report to the Managing Director of the business and be responsible for the following:
- Be responsible for setting up the HR plans for the business including recruitment, training, employee performance measurements, visa processing, disciplinary and payroll
- In line with the business growth plans formulate a recruitment plan to identify staffing needs as new restaurants and outlets open so staff are identified, trained and inducted in time for opening
- Ensure that all staff have the appropriate induction program including health & safety, company policy & procedures
- Manage in conjunction with the PRO the visa processing for new and existing staff visa renewals / medicals & documentation
- Maintain appropriate employee records including visa renewals, performance, time keeping, sick leave and holiday entitlements

Requirements

- Degree in HR or Business Related discipline from a recognised University
- Minimum of 5 years generalist Human Resources experience, with 12 months + recent HR Manager experience
- Strong experience in recruitment, implementing HR structure, policy & procedures and Payroll are all essential
- Strong people skills, ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management
- Any experience in Training, especially in a customer service orientated industry like Hospitality, Retail, Food & Beverage is well regarded
- Excellent communication skills in English & Arabic are essential
