Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

On behalf of our client, a general machining and engineering subsidiary in Saudi Arabia, we are looking to hire a self-motivated driven individual who will be responsible for ensuring that both short & long term Human Resources needs are met. The person shall be responsible for the following areas such as selection and hiring, training, manpower planning, performance and motivations issues, career planning, employee grievances and complaints, development and terminations in accordance with company guidelines and approved business plans. Additionally the candidate would have to comply with the government regulations and Saudi labor laws. Responsibilities:

- Responsible for developing the policies and procedures and ensuring that they are followed by all employees at all times
- Recruitment of new staff based on the requirements given by the departmental heads
- Induction and orientation of all new recruits, setting up of work space, providing the required business tools and sending out introductory memos to the Company
- Identifying training needs and organizing training programs to ensure maximum efficiency and safety for all employees
- Ensure that every employee has a clear idea of their roles and responsibilities within the organization. Create Job Profiles for all roles in the facility by working closely with Department Managers.
- Administer the PDP process, Totem Ranking & Succession Planning for all the staff and ensure that all employees receive a documented annual performance evaluation
- Job rotation and cross functional training
- Establish KPIs for the department and department staff
- Ensuring that all employees are utilized to the maximum possible extent
- Handling of employee grievances/ complaints and disciplinary issues
- Initiate new programs to improve the unity and motivation of all staff
- Hold Monthly Manpower meetings with all Department heads to address concerns and issues with regards to recruitment, retention, succession planning, training, and Performance Appraisals
- Maintaining the personnel files of all employees and updating the Human Resource Management System Monitoring the time, attendance and leaves of all staff. Maintaining all employee records including but not limited to recruitment, vacation, appraisals, promotions, resignation/termination etc. and holding exit interviews
- Ensuring that all government and legal requirements such as Trade Certificates, Licenses, Visas, insurance etc. are in place by working closely with the Government Affairs & Administration Manager.
- Manage the Payroll Process, Oversee Over Time Entries.
- Manage Facility Travel for all employees. Handling of travel agencies, approval ticket issue requests in accordance with approved policies.
- Manage Health Insurance & Claims and maintain market practices and ensure all employees are covered under the company policies and coverage. Handling of Insurance companies (Medical & General), renewals, reports and payments.
- Create Facility HR Reports on a monthly basis. The monthly HR reports would go both JV partners
- Establish and implement in house and external training programs for all categories of staff in technical and non-technical areas in coordination with the Operations Manager.
- Responsible for hiring, salary negotiations, and creating a destination employer name in the market.
- Create an apprenticeship and other training programs for local technical staff to enable the Company to comply with the Saudization requirement in coordination with Department Manager.

Requirements

Graduation / Experience:
- Post Graduate or equivalent qualification in Human Resource Management

Specific Knowledge / Skills:
- Prior experience in setting up a Human Resource Department
- Proactive and Assertive
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, management and presentation skills
- Self-starter with ability to initiate plans and implement them in order to meet the business plans and goals.
- Arabic speaking will be an added advantage.

Salary 25-30,000 SAR + benefits
