Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a highly influential locally owned holding company with offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Our client has various successful divisions specialised in the oil and gas, construction, manufacturing and investment markets. Due to company growth they have an opportunity for a highly experienced Vice President of HR to join their manufacturing arm of the business working from their Abu Dhabi office.
As HR Manager you will be responsible for managing a growing team of Assistants, Generalists and Recruitment Specialists within one of the organisations entities. The position will be a generalist management role, with an overall focus of bringing policies and procedures in line with the parent company.
With such a rapidly growing organisation it is important that the employee population is also nurtured, so this role holds great responsibility. You will oversee the recruitment process and assist with offer negotiations where necessary. You will implement performance appraisals and grievance procedures ensuring that these are accepted and practiced by line management. You will also offer training on such procedures where necessary.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be educated to Masters level, CIPD is advantageous but not essential. You should have more than 7 years experience in a senior HR position and management experience is essential. Our client is an extremely large entity, therefore experience working for both a multinational business and locally owned organisation is crucial.
