HR Manager - MENA

We are seeking to appoint a Generalist HR Manager to our MENA Regional Office based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with close working relationships with the UK.

We deliver a number of Education related contracts throughout the region and source staff and consultants on various contracts to fulfill these requirements.

Requirements

- Have proven knowledge and application of UAE Employment Law and can interpret the law and requirement of other regional countries in which we operate.
- Be an expert recruiter, being able to source specialist staff on quick turnarounds from bid to delivery and act as the first point of contact for all potential candidates, consultants and the business, directing or responding to queries as appropriate.
- A proven generalist, having good experience in all standard HR disciplines.
- Working with the PRO, manage all appropriate visa and vetting actions, together with the legal obligations for data protection and other appropriate statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Support the production of accurate contracts for employees by using standard and compliant templates appropriate to the role and work to be undertaken.
- Understand and apply regional compensation and benefits, and contribute to the development of the global remuneration and recognition strategy.
- Be competent in the application and use of HRMIS (Agresso would be a benefit).
- Competent with International on-boarding and repatriating principles and practice.
- Can communicate timely and effectively with a diverse multi-cultural ex-pat workforce and with other global offices and Head Office staff in the UK
- Is able to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
- Currently resident in UAE.
- A one year local contract of employment with standard regional benefits is offered. You need to be fluent in both written and spoken Arabic & English.
