Our client is a world leading provider of education services with an enviable list of major companies as their clients.

The HR Manager will engage with a variety of functional management teams and be directly responsible for supporting and delivering the human capital strategies across the business unit.

Requirements

Reporting to the Regional HR Director of the Middle East Region, this position is responsible for:

• Managing an HR team within the business unit.
• Supporting managers/leaders who make critical talent decisions within the business unit.
• Workforce planning and metrics (e.g. retention, overall attrition).
• HR Labor cost (salary & benefits) - actual, available, budgeted, commitments.

Key day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to business unit strategy by helping leaders to identify, prioritise and build organisational behaviors, structures and processes.
• Partner the Country Recruitment manager to support managers in forecasting and planning their talent pipeline requirements in line with function line strategy.
• Helping business leaders to provide employees with development opportunities.
• Act as liaison between business leaders and HR to ensure that functional HR services are aligned with internal client needs.
• Partnering with the Regional HR Director to effectively design, implement, communicate, manage, and enhance HR programs and initiatives.
• Ensuring HR practices are compliant and programs manage risk for sustainable long term growth.

The successful candidate for this position will have prior experience working in a complex, global environment and will preferably, though not essential, have some Middle East experience.

The ability to think operationally and strategically, as well as being a positive agent for change will be essential for success. Experience across all aspects of HR, including organisational change and development, talent management and employee relations, and the ability to interact effectively with people from all levels of the organisation will also be necessary.
