Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a leading retail group in the region. Due to continued expansion, our client is looking to hire an HR Manager to head up their operations.
Reporting to the Group HR Manager, this varied role will lead and direct the HR team enabling them to deliver comprehensive HR services right across the business.
You will deal with all employee relations issues, compensation and benefits, rewards, recruitment, performance management and training. You will develop the organisational policies, coach all managers on performance management issues and processes and oversee the training & development agenda. This is a pivotal role within the company and will require a hands-on operational manager who is able to influence and persuade at a senior management level and lead a large team.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 7 years’ experience within the HR field with at least 2 years’ at managerial level. A background within a fashion retail environment would be preferred. It is essential you have regional experience within the UAE as well as exposure working within a sizeable company. You should be meticulous and computer literate (to an expert level for Microsoft Office).
