Charterhouse is working exclusively with a leading risk management and security provider who operate on a global level with a presence in over 50 countries. Our client is looking to hire a HR Manager to set up operations within the UAE and develop the complete HR function from scratch. The role will support the company through its start-up phase in the region.

Working closely with the head offices based in the UK and the USA, you will be responsible for developing and setting all of the policies and procedures as well as ensuring these are in line with the UAE market and labor laws. You will create an employee manual with all of the HR related tools in conjunction to the companys recruitment plans, performance management and employee relation issues. Reporting into the Managing Director, you will have full autonomy for this region and will work closely in setting HR strategy and aligning this with the companys long term strategic goals. You will offer advice and best practice on all HR related issues and will act as the main contact point within the company for the region.

Requirements

The successful candidate should ideally come from a multinational company with previous experience within a start-up company or operations. Regional experience is essential along with excellent UAE labor law knowledge and a flexible and adaptable mentality.
