Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This prestigious global organization, a world leader in their field and a household name, is currently seeking an energetic, committed and assertive Senior HR Manager to be based in Dubai covering the GCC region.

Role will report to the CFO, manage a team of 9 and cover all areas of Human Resources including:

• HR Strategy – implementing and driving initiatives, advising senior management
• HR Policies and Procedures – reviewing, designing, implementing policies and processes
• Compensation and Benefits - salary surveys, compensation data, rewards, benefits
• Talent Acquisition – A-Z recruitment process, attracting talent, onboarding, exit interviews
• Employee Relations – Labour Law, advising managers, assisting in legal cases, ensuring adherence to employment law, managing disciplinary and grievance procedures
• Performance Management – managing the process
• Change Management – acting as a agent of change, driving the business forward
• Learning and Development – implementing L&D initiatives
• Talent Management – identifying key talent and development
• HR Information systems and Payroll – ensure integrity of data, reporting, monitoring

Requirements

• Western-educated preferred with Bachelors Degree in HR or equivalent business subject
• Masters degree preferred
• 6+ years experience in generalist Human Resources Management, GCC preferred
• Solid HR operations experience, but with a very strategic mindset
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law
• High degree of professionalism, punctuality, confidentiality and string work ethic
• Strong, assertive and influential leader
• Calm, can work under pressure, resilient
• Good people-management experience and ability
• Analytical ability and attention to detail
• Strong and confident communicator, at all levels
• Able to coach and mentor employees, research and analyse data, resolve complex problems and issues, organize and prioritize work.
• Good energy, creativity
• Native Arabic speakers much preferred for this role
• FMCG experience preferred
