•Ensure and oversee achievement of recruitment needs as per the manpower plan
•Advise managers on best practices in recruitment and selection
•Lead and implement the recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position
•Review applicants’ CVs to evaluate if they meet the position requirements
•Conduct pre-screening interviews, tests and personality assessments
•Interview and follow-up referrals from management
•Perform reference and background checks for potential employees
•Coordinate and follow-up with the hiring managers until the position is closed
•Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
•Sources of recruitment
-Liaise with local and international preferred recruitment agencies for external recruitment campaigns
-Explore relationships with new agencies
-Negotiate best rates and terms of business with recruitment agencies for management approval
-Develop creative recruitment solutions and recruitment sources.
•New trends in staffing and selection
-Assist in development and implementation of new strategies and procedures to support the current and future hiring needs
-Research most efficient and cost effective open job placements including all advertising media, internet recruiting, job fairs, college recruitment, agencies, and guerrilla recruiting to meet staffing needs.
HR Strategic Support
•Operate as an internal consultant to CHRO in the identification, development, and implementation of HR processes
•Provide support in the areas of
•Partner with HR departments to ensure consistency on philosophies and alignment with business goals
•Support implementation of the HR processes, report design and development
•Assist in the development, monitoring and improvement of HR policies, practices and programs
•Assist in identifying data needs, data sources, data collection tools, performance targets and benchmarks, and assessment methodologies
•Support a strategic, proactive HR approach through effective communication, meaningful leadership development and a sharp focus on employee engagement.
Learning and Development
•Guide, advice, and support employees through analyzing their interests, strengths, skills and areas of development
•Meet Business Unit managers and review performance appraisals and promotion history for key talents
•Assist with career programs including planning, marketing, implementation and gathering data
•Challenge and encourage employees to take action to prepare for and initiate role transitions by obtaining experiences and acquiring skills needed to make role transitions.
-Analyze the requirements for learning and development activities
-Recommend training methodologies that fit with the company’s Human Resources strategy
-Advise business units in planning, developing, presenting, and evaluating complex training and educational programs
-Support HR units/departments for the role out of processes within a training context
-Organise a census of the training needs, define the training methods to be used, create a training plan, divide the training between internal and external training
-Follow up on training needs based on performance appraisals
-Advise Group HR on best trends, methodologies and strategic planning to fill the trainings needs of the workforce
-Conduct orientation sessions and arrange on-the-job training for new hires.
The ideal candidate will:
Will be Degree educated as a mimimum
Have a minimum of 5-7 years Generalist HR Experience.
Experience of working in HR in the local market
Will be a fluent Arabic speaker
Strong organisational skills
Experience of working with Multiple Business Units.
