The Role


The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for the day to day management of the HR department, including the recruitment, training and appointment of staff.
The Human Resources Manager’s responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Manage the Human Resources, Administration and Internal Communication department.
• Attract, select and retain staff of the highest calibre appropriate to job requirements and to organisation standards of efficiency, competence, professionalism and integrity.
• Get the Administrative and HR basics right and build from there a top-class business support function.
• Provide in-depth, tailor-made assistance to the managers in order to facilitate and support the HR dimension of their mission.
• Guarantee all internal communications.
• Manage all office admin functions.
• Create and work within the regional and international HR network and share best practices in his/her domain.Staffing (recruitment & selection) Training and Development
• Human Resources Information Systems
• Performance Management
• Reporting & monitoring (KPI)
• Build effective communication channels to ensure that the HR department is aware of and responsive to the needs of the business units and individuals. Annual proposal of an HR action plan
• Periodically review the local compensation & benefits package with support of the regional head office.
• Update/write local policies and procedures as required.
• Respect of the HR principles, guidelines and rules of the Group
• Internal Communication : staff and organization change announcements, support GM internal communication
• Various ad-hoc projects.
• Verification of Time Sheets.
• Verfication of Leave and Vacation applications.
• Manage and resolve employee issues and concerns.
• Dealing with Govermental labor departments.
• Manage Plant Transport and staff.
• Liaison with community.

Requirements


Requirements


University degree or equivalent (preferred in HR, Psychology, Business Administration).

Fluent in English, and knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
10 years of business experience of which at least 4 years in an HR & Experience of working in an international environment, with a knowledge/awareness of the issues relating to secondments, e.g. work permits, visas, taxation.
• Proven experience of recruitment and selection.
• Proven management experience with the ability to embrace new initiatives.
• Knowledge in IT management.
• Solid bases in training, development & performance management.
The ability to:
• Strong interpersonal skills, pragmatic and business minded, motivated, reliable, and flexible.
• Strong process orientated mindset.
• Excellent communication skills (speaking and writing).
• Efficiently manage a team.
• Good (self-) organizational skills and good coordination & facilitation skills.
• Able to work in an MS-office environment.
• HR IS experience is a strong plus.
Able and willing to work in a global, culturally diverse and changing environment.
