Job description / Role
An international manufacturing company is looking for an Arabic Speaking HR Officer to join its regional team in Ras Al Khaima (RAK), UAE.
Assist HR Manager in recruitment and employee development activities including and not limited to Manpower Planning, Training, Career Development and Performance Management and be a point of contact for all HR related issues.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- Assist HR Manager in ensuring the availability of required resources to carry out all the tasks related to the HR department
- Assist HR Manager in coordinating the provision of counselling and advisory services to employees regarding benefit issues, concerns or any other matters affecting employment follow up with HR Manager if such matters cannot be resolved
- Assist HR Manager in coordinating the issuance of reports, policy manuals, internal publications as per the guidelines specified by the company and dissemination to all relevant employees
- Assist HR Manager in communicating all promotions, appraisals, and ensure the personnel files include all information as required from time to time
- Assist HR Manager to follow up in handling questions, interpret and administer timekeeping and help resolve attendance-related problems for employees (in coordination with IT unit and Finance & Accounts section)
- Assist HR Manager in coordinating the issues related to employees benefits, over-time, compensations, deductions, etc. for the company's employees
- Prepare monthly reports on all employee related activities and issues arising during the month to the HR Manager
- Assist the HR Manager to prepare reports on employee satisfaction survey results and provide recommendations on appropriate action plans
- Perform any other tasks as directed by the HR Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree Holder
- At least 2 years experience in HR and Administration; experience working in a manufacturing plant is ideal
- Native Arabic speaker with high fluency in English
- Knowledge in UAE labor law
