The RoleThe RoleReporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a key and challenging role within a small/medium sized waste management company that has potential opportunities for growth for the right individual • Responsible for employees' affairs and day-to-day needs • Maintains employee HR files and database • Implements Corporate HR policies and procedures and supports staff in actioning policies and ensures compliance • Ensures that the respective Country’s labour law is adhered to at all times by keeping abreast of new developments • Prepares the monthly payroll elements in accurately and timely manner • Monitors the employees’ daily attendance, reporting any irregularities in the attendance, and follows up on needed action • Investigates and prepares warning, notifications and appreciation letters, while making sure that all supporting documents/emails are present • Issues the certificates needed • Follows-up on employees complaints and coordinates with concerned • Generates monthly KPIs and HR metrics |
RequirementsRequirementsThe successful candidate for this role must be a self-starter who is an experienced HR professional and competent across most general HR activities. Experience and Qualifications: • At least 3 years experience working in HR/Personnel capacity • Degree educated – preferably in a relevant subject |
