Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Under the general guidance and supervision of the Human Resources Director and within the limits of established policies and procedures, oversees, directs and manages the Human Resources Services Department to provide resources to support employees.

Reports Management
• Ensures data management in the HRMS records
• Ensures accurate reporting
• Ensures missing data and reporting gaps are progressively closed
• Collaborate with IT to ensure HR system accuracy
• Create and maintain the IT log of HR System complaints
• Monitors the administration of the system
• Assist HR Business Partners with reporting from the system
• Ability to produce attrition, tenure, demographic, education, compensation and benefits reports
• Understand and is conversant with the UAE Labour Law and statutory financial obligations
• Develop and maintain HR Dashboards
• Ensure the HR information system is able to support decision making and ensure effective HR practice

Policies and Procedures
• Write policies and procedures as and when required
• Ensures that company and statutory rules, regulations and policies are adhered to
• Ability to re-engineer procedures to improve efficiencies
• Ensure policies are updated and made available to employees

Compensation and Benefit Administration
• Researches compensation and benefits within the region to ensure the Company is competitive to the local market
• Manages and coordinate with the health insurance company
• In conjunction with the HRD coordinate and plan all compensation and benefit plans as well as policies and procedures
• Manage and ensure payroll practices are adhered
• Manage payroll enquiries and liaise with the Payroll Administrator on issues

Presentation and Facilitation
• Ability to effectively make presentations to employees
• Facilitate focus groups and discussions when required
• Ability to compile PowerPoint presentations

Onboarding
• Manages the employment visa process in line with government policies and regulations
• Oversee the relocation of expatriate colleagues

Requirements

• Degree in Human Resources /Commercial/Social Science degree
• Knowledge of UAE labour law
• Extensive experience with HRMS systems
• Interpersonal and facilitation skills
• Ability to facilitate i.e. change agent
• Exceptional planning, organizing and coordinating skills
• Minimum of 5 - 8 years HR generalist experience in a Heavy Industry environment
• 3-5 years of experience within HR Environment
• Excellent computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Internet)
• English – mother tongue level
