Job description / Role
Reporting to the Policies & Procedures Team leader, you will be part of Human Resources & Administration team and you will be responsible for:
* Developing the policies study, design, communication and implementation of procedures
* Contributing in the discussion, development and recommendation of best practice and standardized policies and procedures to meet business needs
* Reviewing, editing and preparing for publication and distribution of revised/new policies and procedures along with summary of amendments to manual holders ensures proper updating and maintenance of policy and procedures manuals and Employee Handbook.
* Obtaining agreement and sign off with all stakeholders on revised policies and procedures
* Participating in planning, recommending and communicating of approved HR policies, procedures and standards of Borouge in order to maintain external competitive position. Includes co-ordination with all users concerned, collection of information required, analysis and appropriate recommendation.
* Participating in the studies / analysis on policy and procedures issues, initiate surveys with ADNOC and Group Companies aiming at maintaining corporate standards and provide recommendations for improvement.
* Developing an in-depth understanding of the purpose and structure of existing HR policies and procedures.
* Providing ongoing advice to HR staff, Employee Relations staff and Management of Borouge, and when requested to other affiliated companies, with regard to policy and procedures matters.
Requirements
As a successful candidate you will have:
* Degree in Business Administration or relevant disciplines with certification in Human Resource
* Minimum 7 to 9 years diversifies experience in HR, at least 3 preferably in petrochemical or oil/gas industry.
* Work experience in Human Resources
* Knowledge of Human Resources functions, processes, policies, procedures, and practices
* Knowledge of HR systems of UAE, China, Singapore, India, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand
* High level of proficiency in English & strong in Microsoft Word & Excel is preferred
* Knowledge of UAE Federal Law to ensure that new policies and procedures do not violate any existing laws
* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and especially in writing, with associates in all levels of the Company
* Project management skills
* Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information
