Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of compensation and benefits programs and frameworks as well as coordination the payroll activities with the Finance Department in alignment with HR strategy and business objectives.
- Assist in analyzing costing, utilization and funding models to provide competitive plans to organization and recommend new and/or improved employee benefit plans and cost-saving measures.
- Assist in designing compensation programs and eligibilities of the full range of employee benefit programs, including base salary models, incentive programs and allowances, based on the approved grading structure including retirement, reimbursements, and allowances.
- Assist in developing and implementing pension program related to Qataris and GCC based on Qatari pension law and other rules and regulations related to GCC countries.
- Assist in scheduling payroll operations by reviewing schedules and obtaining proper approval and then forwarding to the Finance Department for processing.
- Assist in maintaining employee payroll master data and communicate to relevant HR unit in case of errors and inconsistencies in audit reports.
- Assist in reviewing the collection of time and attendance, benefits, performance-based compensation, expenses, reimbursements, claims, loans and advances data through the system.
- Assist in reviewing the consolidated pay period data and scheduled payroll operations to ensure accurate information before running in coordination with the Finance Department.
- Assist in validating and transmitting all payroll-related expenses to the appropriate general ledger accounts; coordinate transmission/postings according to accounting and reporting procedures and support reconciliation of figures for a given period in time.
- Review and respond to queries based on compensation and benefits, and payroll policies, procedures and guidelines; escalate to Head of HR Services when needed.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources Management
- Three years of relevant work experience in compensation and benefits, and payroll.
