HR Specialist

Job description / Role

Varian Medical Systems Int. is excited to be opening an office in Dubai. For this office we need an HR Specialist to handle day to day HR activities. In this position you are responsible for the Human Resources services for our Middle East Organization. In this role you are member of the European and Middle East HR team.
The HR Specialist role:
• Supporting Management and employees in all types of HR related questions.
• Administers and communicates the company’s benefits program.
• Conducting periodic compensation and benefit surveys and make recommendation on the trends.
• Recruiting employees in the Middle East region.
• Administer HR Data in our corporate database (SAP).
• Preparing payroll with local payroll provider.

Requirements

Qualifications:
• Bachelor‘s Degree in Human Resources and/or commercial or business administration education
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR and Accounting preferably within a multinational company in the Middle East (preferably in growing companies), preferably within a US Corporation.
Skills:
• Proficient business administration skills.
• Broad knowledge and experience in labor law regulation (UAE & Qatar).
• Broad knowledge of HR and Accounting Policies, Procedures and Employee Relations.
• Thorough knowledge of general HR procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to review, develop, amend and write Human Resources Processes & Policies.
• Proficient in recruiting processes including interviewing skills.
• Solid problem solving and organization skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in use of MS Office and SAP.

Travel:
• 10% travel in GCC countries and Europe
