Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Strategic:
- Assist in the development and implementation of long term human resource strategies with respect to Talent Management, Succession Planning, Employee Engagements & Performance Management for the foundation.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all HR specialist activities in a cost effective and efficient manner.
- Implement compensation as per strategy to support overall.
- Formulate and maintain strategies in tandem with HR Director with respect to succession planning of employees.

Operational:
- Act as a nodal agency for business HR staff to ensure implementation of HR initiatives
- Assist in implementing the approved HR Policies & Procedures.
- Develop processes and systems to monitor success of PMS and report to senior management thereof.
- Educate, train and guide employees in aims, objectives and process of performance management.
- Integrate PMS with other HR initiatives, particularly training management, on boarding and people development.
- Conduct training programs for all staff on the PMS on an annual basis.
- Assist in mapping competencies of the employees and need for training sessions to overcome the deficiencies.
- Identifying various training programmes to be conducted to bridge the deficiencies.
- Implement measures & systems, and seek approval on an overall competitive market oriented the reward management policy that recognizes & rewards different levels of high quality performance
- Design Succession Plans & Career Paths for high performers by defining systematic people growth models well as customizing its implementation within the working culture of the organization.

People:
- Advise and support department heads in HR issues, including Talent Management, Surveys, Performance Management, and Succession Planning etc.
- Ensure attraction, retention and skill development of HR team to create a high performing talent pool

Requirements

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (With a focus on HR) OR equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in major firm
- Experience in setting up HR policies and process
Special Skills:
- Excellent understanding of organization behavioral issues
- Fluency in Arabic & English
- Proficiency in the use of Computers and Microsoft Office
- Excellent People Management & Communication Skills
- Experience working in a multi-cultural workforce

DFWAC aims to protect physically, sexually, and emotionally abused women and children, prevent ongoing abuse and the escalation of violence, and promote social awareness through education and outreach.
