Employment: Full Time

Charterhouse is working with a media company who is looking to hire an Arabic speaking HR Supervisor Payroll. This integral role will participate in the development and execution of an optimum compensation division whilst working closely with and supporting the HR Manager.

Your key accountabilities will include processing monthly payroll and pensions, liaising with the relevant pension authorities as well as overseeing payment of employee benefits ensuring eligibility and policy compliance. You will liaise with finance on payments and other matters and provide periodic reports on HR activities. You will also ensure adequate disaster recovery is in place whilst working closely with the IT Team.

Additionally, you will act as a point of contact for employees on HR related matters ensuring performance management procedural requirements are adhered to and followed. You will also support the HR Manager in the development of employee performance assessments and development needs as well as setting performance management systems for supervisors to manage employee performance.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have solid experience as a Payroll Specialist with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. You should be strategic in your approach and possess an excellent understanding of the GCC / Qatar Labour Laws. It is essential you have strong knowledge of employee contract negotiation and development. A Degree in HR with a post graduate qualification or professional certification such as CIPD or HRCI would be advantageous.
