Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Maintain the organizational structure by building and updating regularly, organizational structure, job descriptions, knowledge, skills & abilities in order to be aligned with the day-to-day business operations
• Implement a yearly recruitment plan, including proper selection & sourcing techniques as well as counselling managers on candidate’s selection; conducting and analysing exit interviews; recommending modifications so that the organization is always staffed with the best possible resources in the adequate functions
• Implement modern and cost-effective learning and development programs, making sure that staff have been enabled with the best possible skills to perform as per the highest standards.
• Put in place and maintain proper HR Information System tools to ensure that management has the right and accurate information at any point of time
• Ensure yearly Performance Appraisal process is being conducted and that each employee is appraised by his direct supervisor and assigned yearly SMART Performance Objectives.
• Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
• Maintain historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records
• Write and deliver presentations to corporate officers or government officials regarding human resources policies and practices
• Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics to be able to properly issue statistics about staff and answer any corporate requirement
• Consult with senior leaders and advise on the most effective human capital investments to drive team effectiveness and performance.
• Put in place a strategy to ensure succession planning and building internal leadership capabilities
• Ensure that the internal communication tools (e.g. intranet, mailing groups, newsletters etc..) are well updated and used to cascade the various key messages across the organization
• Implement world-class, standard HR practices are implemented worldwide, taking into consideration, local differences and practices with the aim of having a standard approach in HR management

Requirements

Qualifications and Knowledge:
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organizational Development.
• HR qualification or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labour relations, preferred.
• Excellent business awareness and management skills.

Skills and Experience:
• Minimum 8 years of related experience among which 2 at least in a similar position at a large scale organization
• Organisational skills and the ability to understand detailed information;
• IT and numeracy skills, with strong IT skills required if managing/operating computerised payroll and benefits systems.
• Ability to analyse, interpret and explain employment law.
• Integrity and approachability, as managers and staff must feel able to discuss sensitive and confidential issues with you.
• Excellent command of English and Arabic.
