Job description / Role
A leading company in the industry of designing and manufacturing pumps and anciallary equipment for the upstream and downstream oil and gas markets are looking for a HSE Coordinator in Basra, Iraq.
Ideal candidate will oversee the adherence of all health, safety and environment standards in the company Iraq operations.
Candidate will oversee the completion of all planned HSE activities and prepare and compile the needed HSE documentation.
Coordinate with workshop manager and HSE manager on all HSE issues.
Ensure that all employees follow health, safety and environment rules and receive proper training in the use of the facility equipment.
Record all near misses, first aid incidents and other accidents.
Investigate and report all accidents within time frame set forth by company.
Carry out weekly safety walk around inspections, record hazards and work with the workshop manager/HSE manager to eliminate hazards.
Requirements
Conduct weekly HSE meeting.
Mechanical Engineer/diploma holder.
5 years minimum experience.
Qualified EMS & OHSAS internal auditor.
NEBOSH certificate preferred.
AED 14,500
