Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The essential goal of our Corporate HSE is to strategically provide advice and sustainable implementation in the direction and technical support of Health, Safety & Environment. Administer and practice Corporate Social Responsibility for our Borouge Production and Marketing businesses.
Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will be part of Corporate HSE team and you will be responsible for:

* Implementing Procedures, Work Instructions & Specifications for Environment / Pollution Control & Wastes Management.
* Reporting undesirable conditions and implications thereof together with recommendations to management for improvement in order to achieve Borouge Policy objectives on Environmental Protection.
* Conducting awareness & training programs on Environmental Topics.
* Conducting and / or directing Environmental Monitoring / testing activities and audits to determine environmental impacts & compliance with guidelines / specifications.
* Maintaining & tracking environmental data, provide compliance reports & investigate non-compliance incidents.
* Providing advice / assistance on waste management with regard to waste disposal permissions, documentation, handling, transportation, storage, disposal and reduction.
* Preparing reports & presentation on environmental status / environmental investigations to Management. Consults with Operations to formulate recommendations for remedial actions to be followed.
* Preparing materials for correspondence with ADNOC Group Companies, ADNOC EHS Division & Government Regulatory Authorities on Environmental Issues.
* Emergency Response activities related to Environmental issues.
* Preparing Budget estimates for environmental programs.
* Participating as a member in Facility Response Plan - HSE Planner during Emergency

Requirements

As a successful candidate you will have:
* Graduate Degree in Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Equivalent
* Knowledgeable with acceptable international HSE standards, codes and work practices/ procedures in oil/gas and petrochemical applications
* 10 years experience in specifically Environmental Field preferably with Petrochemical, Oil & Gas Industry, or Refinery.
* Excellent coaching skills, with good ability to work effectively with other people and in teams.
* Excellent communication skills.
* UAE valid driving license is preferable.
* Computer software user's knowledge and experience.
