Job description / Role
ABOUT CLIENT:
An exciting opportunity with an established leading Middle East based National Oil Company, that functions throughout onshore development sites as well as in the shallow coastal waters with a number of productive oil fields.
JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
a) Prepares, review, controls and coordinates strict implementation of the Company's Marine and
Underwater Safety Management System on all offshore sites.
b) Surveys, audits and monitor offshore sites including outsourced services. Management System on all offshore sites; prepare audit/assessment reports, recommendations and follow-up corrective actions.
c) Carry out technical review, assessment and evaluation of proposed marine spread, diving systems
and related HSE plans for all marine/diving projects.
d) Participates in risk assessment sessions (HAZID and ENVID) and all related dispensation for Company routine/non routine projects and ensure strict implementation of recommended.
e) Support and advise of marine HSE issues for all company departments and offshore sites.
REMUNERATION:
An attractive remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidates and will be in line with a competitive industry standard.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
a) Master Mariner / Chief Engineer certificate
b) HSE qualification NEBOSH or equivalent.
c) Qualified internal auditor of OHSAS 18001, Management System
d) 3 - 7 years HSE marine and diving experience
