Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

In charge of the development and maintenance of health, safety and environment systems
Ensure the standards are observed
Conduct in-depth statistical analyses
Define risks
Propose appropriate solutions in accordance with applicable legislation and corporate policies.
Ensure the implementation of new standards
Be the main contact for inspection services
Train personnel on the standards to be observed
Negotiate and manage the health, safety and environment budget
Participate in internal awareness campaigns
Identify and measure potential safety hazards in the workplace
Analyze risk of fires in buildings
Determine dangers of handling certain toxic chemicals
Recommend appropriate loss prevention methods
Assess probability of harm
Develop procedures and designs to reduce the risk of illness, injury or damage
Coordinate with outside organization such as OSHA and NABOSH etc. for fire departments
Design install safety materials and equipments
Conduct quality of safety materials in the working place
Advise workers on the proper use of safety equipment and clothing

Requirements

Must have at least more than 2 years site experience in any GCC countries with the same position.
Must have IOSH and/or NBOSH certificates
Has diploma or degree certificate of Safety Engineer
Must have UAE residence visa
