Job description / Role
HSE Engineer – Dubai
Our client, a leading contracting company based in Dubai is now seeking for HSE Engineer to be part of a very prestigious project in the Palm.
Job Responsibilities
In charge of the development and maintenance of health, safety and environmental systems
Implement the site hazard identification programs
Ensure the standards are observed
Conduct in-depth statistical analysis
Investigate unsafe acts and conditions and provide solutions to prevent recurrences.
Propose appropriate solutions in accordance with applicable legislation and corporate policies
Ensure the implementation of new standards
Be the main contact for inspection services
Train personnel on the standards to be observed
Negotiate and manage the health, safety and environment budget
Participate in internal awareness campaigns / Execute safety programs for locations and minimize company safety losses.
Conduct HSE Internal Training programs
Conduct Weekly/Monthly HSE Meetings.
Develop a culture to anticipate and prevent health hazardous conditions.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
Degree educated, Diploma in Engineering, Diploma in occupational safety and health/Safety management certificate course (1 Year full time) from an internationally recognized institute
4 years’ experience in the UAE
With valid Trakhees SARS accreditation card
