Job description / Role
HSE Engineer Dubai
Job Responsibilities
In charge of the development and maintenance of health, safety and environmental systems
Implement the site hazard identification programs
Propose appropriate solutions in accordance with applicable legislation and corporate policies
Ensure the implementation of new standards
Be the main contact for inspection services
Ensure the standards are observed
Conduct in-depth statistical analysis
Investigate unsafe acts and conditions and provide solutions to prevent recurrences.
Assists in investigations of EHS incidents, root cause analysis, entry into databases and item closure tracking
Train personnel on the standards to be observed
Negotiate and manage the health, safety and environment budget
Participate in internal awareness campaigns / Execute safety programs for locations and minimize company safety losses.
Conduct HSE Internal Training programs
Conduct Weekly/Monthly HSE Meetings.
Develop a culture to anticipate and prevent health hazardous conditions.
Requirements
Degree Educated, Diploma in Engineering, Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health/Safety Management Certificate course
4+ years experience in Construction industry (UAE/GCC)
A successful candidate must be well organized, have the ability prioritize multiple deadline and business needs, be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written form, and have excellent computer skills.
