The RoleThe RoleThe purpose of this role is to lead the operations in the development of principles and guidelines, processes, procedures and systems that are implemented to ensure proactive compliance with health, safety and environment regulations and requirements. •Responsible for planning and developing the health, safety and environment procedures norms and policies for the various projects across the organization •Responsible for developing a system to maintain the HSE related information and provide the same to the Business/Function Heads and sites as and when required •Responsible for developing a mechanism of capturing the safety levels and statistics across the organization. •Responsible for site coordination from HSE for effective implementation of all statutory requirements. •Reviews the safety statistics of all locations Leads the analysis of non-compliance incidences to clearly identify causes, determine corrective courses of action and identify action steps to avoid recurrence. •Responsible for reviewing the accident reports and plan for requisite action •Responsible for coordinating with the site locations on data and statistics on HSE on an ongoing basis •Responsible for the deployment of HSE personnel as and when required on site locations •Leads the relations with selected external stakeholders (I.e. local authorities, vendors, contractors etc.) to ensure the organization is effectively equipped with understanding around regulations and requirements and to ensure external parties are complying with requirements when working for the organization in the execution of a project / contract. •Leads the coordination with TP certifying agencies for lifting equipment certification |
RequirementsRequirementsBE / B Tech engineering with Nebosh / IOSH certification Overall experience of 15-20 years of which 5 years should have been spent as the head of HSE in a similar organization Should have had hands on experience in the construction /EPC industry |
