Job description / Role
A leading technical training company in Saudi Arabia is looking for an Arabic speaking HSE instructor.
Responsibilities:
To plan, develop and carry HSE training courses, in accordance with agreed business development plans. Monitor on & off-job HSE training activities.
Provide HSE leadership and guidance to Management and field operations
Development and delivery of HSE courses in consistency with employee’s individual development plan.
Planning and scheduling of delivery of HSE courses.
Liaise with other on-job training staff to ensure full compatibility of on-job & off-job training, meet with them regularly, & visit locations where trainees are receiving on-job training.
Ensure consistency of training activities & documentation across all company disciplines.
Monitor trainee progress & implement corrective action as necessary.
Develops training materials including audiovisual components, participant handouts, job aids, instructor guides, evaluations, and other references or resources. Also, partners with manager, peers and stakeholders in the design and development of safety training courses.
Represents Training Team as a contact for training on projects and initiatives with clients and various stakeholders.
Interacts with Site Safety Professionals and organizational stakeholders on strategic and programmatic initiatives requiring coordination between organizations for the design, development and delivery of required safety training.
Requirements
Skills
Experience: Minimum 5-7 years in the field of HSE or related area with at least 3 years of training experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word and Excel required)
Must be personable, energetic and have a customer service orientation
Must be self-motivated
Must be able to work alone or with a team
Education
University Graduate, preferably in the Safety Sciences and/or Environmental Sciences disciplines. Relevant Master's degree a significant plus
Assessor Qualification (Preferable)
Good Command of both English and Arabic
