Job description / Role
HSE Manager required for an interiors contractor based in Dubai. Working across multiple sites and projects in the region, you will be responsible for managing safety and will champion good Health and Safety Practice within the organisation. With experience of working in the GCC region, you will be professional, able to work on multiple sites, self motivated and keen for a new challenge.
THE ROLE
• Managing health and safety across multiple sites in the UAE
• Writing policies and procedures, method and risk statements and HSE reports
• Promoting good health and safety practices across the region
• Dealing with any breaches, writing incident reports and reporting into the rest of the management team
• Liaising with the client regarding access to live sites
• Work proactively with managers, to establish and maintain safe systems of work and a safe environment for colleagues and customers
Requirements
• NEBOSH and IOSH certification
• Ideally degree qualified (not essential)
• Experience of working on multiple sites
• Interiors experience essential
• Experience of working in the GCC region
• Methodical, passionate about health and safety
• Client facing and able to work as an integral part of the management team
• Experience of working on large construction and refurbishment projects
