HSE Manager (Roads/Expressway)

Job description / Role

Our leading EPC client are currently looking for a HSE Manager to oversee their recent expressway contract award.

- Preparation & implementation of the project EHS plan
- Identify potentially unsafe acts, areas and practice and educate people
- Work method modification Improvement.
- Monitor EHS practices, persuade to minimize non compliance
- Report incidents beyond control and unsafe occurrences
- Investigate unsafe occurrences and initiate preventive steps.
- Discuss near miss accidents with staff and workmen
- Monitor the safety statistics and insist on preventive actions.
- Conduct safety training programs and motivational programs
- Maintain Health & Environment related aspects
- Propagate the best practices followed at other locations.
- Posting of safety personnel and arranges the necessary safety tools as required by site

Requirements

- Must have a Degree
- Must have recent GCC experience - Qatar experience would be advantageous
- Must have Roads/Expressway/Bypass experience
- Similar Construction HSE experience in projects of value above 250 million USD is preferred
