The RoleThe RoleWe are looking for an experienced HSE Manager to work for a Engineering Consultancy on a Sewage & Drainage project in Oman. Company Profile: Well established Multi disciplined Engineering consultancy that specialise in all manner of projects across the Middle East. Job Role: - You will be required to establish and implement HSE policy for a sewerage and drainage municipal company. - You will work closely with the CEO and the other Directors. - Ensure implementation of the HSE Management Systems. - Establish Company HSE Plan including HSE Policy (based on Corp. QHSE Policy) and continually improve it. - Assist and coordinate with the QHSE Team Leader and all personnel assigned to the project in establishing an overall Company HSE Management Plan based on Companies HSE Management standards and Project requirements. - Advise on setting up the improvement guidelines for Company HSE Management System to employees. - Ensure improvements are implemented and results are feedback to employees. - Responsible for ensuring that Company HSE Management policy, plans and procedures are implemented effectively and are suitable for the their purposes and use for which they are intended. - Establish Project HSE audit program & schedule and perform the Project HSE Audit within the project organisation. - Report the Project HSE Audit Results to CEO and Project Manager. - Monitor Company HSE System activities such as Engineering HSE and Site HSE activities based on Companies Management system and Project requirements. - Responsible for Engineering HSE Engineer and Construction HSE staff. - Coordinate and communicate with Client on Project HSE issues. - Produce and develop the Project HSE Training Plan. Ensure implementation of the plan. - Ensure that training records are maintained. - Report the performance status of Project HSE and relevant issues to the CEO and Project Manager. - Ensure that the Project meets international standards. - Ensure Risk Assessments are carried out and the controls implemented. |
RequirementsRequirements- Must have experience working on water treatment / Sewage projects - Must speak Fluent English - Speaking Arabic would be a great advantage - Must have recognised safety accreditations - Must have a minimum of 8 years experience in Construction or civil's projects - Should be Degree / Diploma Qualified (Construction / Engineering) |
