HSE Manager - Water Treatment Project

Salary: up to 2300 KWD (29,000 AED) + Food, Transport and Single Accommodation Provided onsite

Benefits: Air ticket provided every 4 months for 10 days, Yearly performance incentive of up to 20,500 AED

Our client is a diversified multinational conglomerate headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It operates in the areas of trading and distribution, engineering, procurement, construction, exploration, production, casual dining restaurants and manufacturing and they have an opportunity for a HSE Manager in Kuwait for an exciting new Water Treatment Project.

The focus of this role is the implementation of the HSE system driven from the corporate Head Office and to manage a large team up to 40+ HSE staff who will action this system and ensure that safety and risk is minimised onsite.

Communication is key in this role as you will drive an integrated approach of HSE and Hazard Effects Management between all parties. Problem solving quickly and conducting investigations as needed identifying root cause will be equally important.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive a common and consistent risk based HSE culture through the project
- Performance Management of a Large Team and lead by example
- Leading Investigations and completing Root Cause Analysis
- Conduct onsite inspections
- Review the HSE system and update all documents as needed
- Ensure all regulatory bodies are followed
- Implement accident prevention programs
- Manage and evaluate all equipments

Requirements

- 15 to 20 years of experience as HSE preferably with projects in Water Treatment
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
- Two or more HSE Certifications in General Industrial Safety, Construction Safety, Environmental Management, Industrial Hygiene, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, NEBOSH, CertOSH
- Those with Kuwait experience and pre-approved by KOC is a definite advantage
