Employment: Full Time

Our client is an International Construction Company. Looking for a HSE Manager with experience in Highrise buildings ( Contracting background).

•Certificates, Licenses, Registrations – OSHA, NEBSOH, IOSH

Responsibilities & Duties:

•Establish and ensure implementation of the HSE Management System on the all phases (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning up to Mechanical Completion) of the project.
•To establish Project HSE Plan including HSE Policy (based on Corp. QHSE Policy) and continually improve it.
•(Assist and coordinate with the Project Manager and all personnel assigned to the project in establishing an overall Project HSE Management Plan based on Companies IMS Management standards and Project requirements.
•Advise on setting up the improvement guidelines for Project HSE Management System to project employees. Ensure improvements are implemented and results are feedback to employees.
•Establish Project HSE audit program & schedule and perform the Project HSE Audit within the project organization in cooperation with Corporate QHSE Team.
•Report the Project HSE Audit Results to Corporate QHSE Team Leader and Project Manager.
•Monitor Project HSE System activities such as Engineering HSE and Field HSE activities based on Companies Management system and Project requirements.
•Coordinate with Engineering HSE Engineer and manage Construction HSE staff.
•Coordinate and communicate with Client on Project HSE issues.
•Produce and develop the Project HSE Training Plan. Ensure implementation of the plan. Ensure that training records are maintained.
•Ensure that HSE is applied in line with the Project HSE Design Criteria to the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Mechanical Completion phases of the Project.
•Ensure that the Project meets international standards.

Requirements

Skills

•Education – A bachelor’s degree (4 year) or higher in Safety, Engineering, or related technical field
•Experience – Ten (10) years of industrial construction safety experience managing project safety, and at least 5 years in the GCC.
•Relevant Work Experience – Advanced knowledge of construction industry practices, regulatory
agency requirements and industry standards. Worked within the industrial construction industry,
•with a preference for relevant civil works, tunnel industry experience
•Communication Skills – Must have very good written and oral communications. Required to
speak effectively before groups of Senior Management, clients, subcontractors, and/or employees of the organization.
•Computer Skills – Excellent computer skills required. Must have experience with Microsoft Office
