Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Excellent communication skills at various levels and with various nationalities.
- Administer project safety policies and procedures with focus on potentially dangerous and hazardous operations and emphasizing proactive solutions.
- Conduct investigations of all accidents, injuries, illness, property damages, and other related incidents & issues.
- Prepares accident / incident investigation reports for onward submission.
- Safety task analysis and risk reduction talks (STARRT) process.
- Companys behavioral safety program
- Conduct induction training for new employees.
- Conduct various safety training to provide necessary education and awareness.
- Enforce the promotion of an effective environmental management system through hierarchical approach, minimization, re-use, recycle and proper disposal.
- Performing regular field inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinates with the Consultant / Client and Sub-contractors regarding HSE issues on site.
- Prepares statistic reports on accidents, near misses, incidents and key performance indicators.
- Write & review Method statements and ensure effective Risk Assessment and compliance.
- Provide daily / weekly tool box talks
- Coordinate and conduct work area assessment, surveys and program evaluations to determine the presence of hazardous conditions such as falling objects, chemical exposure, confined space, indoor air quality, ventilation and hazards in working with heavy machinery and at heights.
- Evaluate hazardous conditions and recommend controls in the area of engineering, administrative, and or personal protective equipment.
- Collect, analyze and maintain data essential for safety and environmental programs
- Participate in safety inspection programs / meetings with documented reports reflecting discrepancies and recommend appropriate corrective measures and actions.
- Conduct safety meetings and provide safety inputs.

Requirements

HSE Professional with 10-15 years of experience in HSE management, practices and procedures mainly in road & bridge construction projects with excellent leadership skills.Monitor HSE controllers in executing continuous audits.

- Manage the HSE controllers and coordinate their audit schedule
- Provide HSE improvement proposals stating: the non-conformance, proposed corrective
action, required resources for corrective action and plan of implementation.
