HSE & QA Inspector (Facilities Management)

Job description / Role

HSE & QA Inspector (Facilities Management) is urgently required by an International Contractor for an iconic and prestigious Mixed Use Community in Abu Dhabi.

My Client is an international Company with over 700 projects, generating more than US$ 50 Billion and with more than 3,000 employees all around the Globe.
Reputable provider of world-class Engineering, Infrastructure and Facilities Services, capable to undertake a wide range of challenging projects.

Responsibilities:
• Directly reporting into the Village Manager and responsible for the residents' health and safety by making sure risks in the workplace are properly controlled;
• Ensure the Community complies with all aspects of Health and Safety laws;
• Investigate accidents and complaints;
• Ensure workers are provided with suitable protective equipment;
• Develop Health & safety working programs and strategies;
• Ensure site OHS and Company QA systems are implemented and maintained.

Requirements

• Technical Degree in Building or Civil Engineering
• NEBOSH qualified or equivalent;
• Professional Membership of IOSH or IIRSM;
• Minimum 15 years experience as a Health & Safety Professional, with at least 5 years in the field of Operations & maintenance;
• Experience in managing contracting environment on buildings;
• Excellent communication skills both in English and Arabic Language;
• Experience in UAE market and based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi
