Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This role will give you the opportunity to lead the Quality Management team across large scale social infrastructure including residential based across the Kingdom. As HSE - QA/QC Manager, your role would entail to manage, develop and implement all the various HSE - QA/QC responsibilities to ensure the project is constructed along the terms and conditions of contract.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the services of subcontractors and major construction equipment required by the project will be available at the appropriate time to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity
- Establish assignments for Construction Superintendents for various work areas of construction operations, monitoring progress and recommending corrective action as necessary
- Conducts performance evaluations
- Manage the assignment of manpower, materials and equipment to maximize efficiency, maintain schedules and to meet budget goals. Keeps alert to possible problem areas and takes preventative action to ensure that critical milestones are met for each phase of the project
- Ensure the use of sound construction practices to attain required quality control at the maximum efficiency and minimum cost
- Prepare periodic reports summarizing progress of construction activities for client and higher-level management
- Ensure effective implementation of all client and company policies and procedures, including labour relations policies
- Serve as the primary contract with client representatives, subcontractors and government representatives for construction-related activities whilst maintaining strong client and community relations

Requirements

- Educated to a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 6 years experience on a large-scale education program
- Deep knowledge of construction and design management
- Ability to analyse the current construction practices
- Construction leadership, strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to review highly technical and complex construction documents
- Construction program and time management and prioritization
- Strong report writing skills
