Salary US $1000-1500 $ Plus Accommodation+ Food + Insurance+ Yearly Ticket

A leading oil & gas contracting company is looking to hire a safety supervisor for their Iraqi operation. Candidate should have a minimum of three year experience in handling the similar role. The incumbent will be responsible for identify any unsafe work practices and unsafe conditions, documenting the visits and forwarding findings to various management personnel. Responsible for the coordination of inspections when new equipment or processes are introduced. Assist with the completion of project safety planning and hazard investigation with supervisors and managers.

Requirements

- Senior Health and Safety Officer holding an university degree / diploma in Engineering.

- Good knowledge of principals, theories and practices in construction management and company policy and procedures.
- Be able to demonstrate high level of understanding and interpretation of applicable laws, regulations and international best practice in HSE Management.
- Make a decision or solve a problem by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives and propose quality solutions.
- Deal with staff and visitors in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact and professionalism.
- Perform any other work duties which may be assigned to you from time to time.
