HSE&Q Manager - Major Airport Terminal Project

We have been appointed to recruit the Site Supervision team for a Major Regional Airport Expansion Project.

At the moment the project in confidential until we have the mobilization dates and manpower program in place.

The first draft of appointments will be from December 14th 2014. As such we are looking to appoint a number of disciplines to the scheme to act as the Lead Site team for the Engineers and designers and represent the client in the delivery of the project.

The HSE&Q Manager will ensure safety in the major Terminal Project Development

The role will cover:
- To support and promote health, safety & environment, occupational health and fire safety.
- To liaise with all parties involved to ensure that all relevant regulatory requirements are complied with.
- Create, plan and execute strategy/programs/plans/standards/procedures to ensure minimum standards of safety, health, environment and fire safety performance are achieved.
- Minimize accidents / incidents and to promote a positive safety and an accident free culture.
- To ensure health, safety, environment, occupational health and fire safety continue to develop and improve.
- Promote and raise safety awareness of employees.
- To oversee HSE performance executed by the PMCM / Supervision Consultant HSE and where necessary the primary contractors.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Professionally Qualified Safety Practitioner with the appropriate Internationally Recognized Certification / Membership; Degree / Diploma in Engineering background preferred.

Major Airports Experience would be ideal, in understanding project and client type and relevant safety training acquired in construction industry. .

Minimum Experience: At least 15 years experience including a minimum of 5 years in GCC countries. Experience in large multi-disciplinary construction projects preferred.
